DIY: Furniture Refreshing

I've discussed a few times painting furniture in a bold, vibrant color for something different. I decided to do this myself and thought I would share the images with you. I like color, but you have to be committed to color to pull this off. Check out the before and after shots:

Painted in: Benjamin Moore, Blue Spa, 2052-40, High gloss finish

This idea works well especially on round side tables with detail. If you combine a more traditional shape with a modern, bright color, the end result can be very striking and unique. When painting, use 4" foam rollers to give a smooth "spray like" finish too. Have fun working on your projects!
